Yah, his right arm looks too strained and not relaxing on the arm rest. I couldn't hold my forearm up like that for too long...

From the grip on the armrest with his right arm, it looks like he might be concerned. His left eye shows a little concern since it staring dead on and wide open, the other eye is what makes him look bored because its just lazy. It looks like he is coming out of boredom to concern. Im thinking you can fix it up very easily. Good job.

i think it was drawn very well, despite the intention of concern. His face has good flow and contrast, which really draws the eye. His right hand looks like its got a burly vein popping out, which is kind of weird, and it just kinda stands out too much ... i'd fade it back a bit.

Anyway, it's a wonderful pic, and I think something about the lines makes it very warm. I like this king already! Well done!

I think he is a bored and concerned king..if we could ask him what more, he would say many things I guess:))

he does look more bored than concerned.

despite a few inconsistancies, i really like your style and rendering. good, strong use of values, though you could darken the lighter areas just a bit. cool.

You may only work on HIS right eye .
and why not add some :hmm:coloured pencil:hmm: rendering - It will texturize your sketch.

Nice work frantic - Draw more KINGS .

thanx alot for the nice words folks.

well I plan to color this king digitally (wacom) it will be my first attempt on coloring scanned work...check out sometime my website, so you can see more pencil works soon..(it is a new site yet)

I will post it them here also..
