This guy is incredible. How in the world does he pull off these perspective shots?

All that hard work only to be washed away by rain...or bum urine.

Woah! Those are great! How does he keep people off the sidewalk long enough to paint it? doing artwork that amazing is hard enough on canvas, but on a sidewalk?! Much respect for this guy.

I read an interview with this guy a few years ago... these things are friggin awesome... I might be wrong, but I think he said theyre done in chalk. So when it rains, goodbye to such fantastic artwork.

the depth in these is definately phenomenal. i can imagine little kids thinking they are going to be cool and go and scuff his art with their shoe... and then they totally fall in..

yeah.. i think he does them with chalk.. he had chalk laying next to some of the art in the pictures... i wonder if he gets sad when it is washed away :[

Couldn't he just coat them with something to stop them from being destroyed? I know they're on public property but he must get paid to do some private ones. Seems like a waste otherwise :(.

I wanna know how he lays it out...they are so complex.. and keeping the angles and lighting correct must be a bitch.. would be cool to see process pics of the peices...

it says they are paintings on the website. And as far as the method goes I'm sure its done just like a mural. Good to see some clasical stuff.

And there are some tricks being used to enhance the perspective illusion on the first painting.

the camera set-up (lens and angle of shot) is definitely enhancing the perspective, but amazing shit nonetheless...

scrubbinbubbles...good to see you back bro, where ya been?

He says in his bio on the website that he doesn't use protective coats on it, because i would dull the color of the chalk/pastel stuff, and it doesn't protect it so well.

his interview is pretty interesting, if you haven't read it. touches on his technique and stuff.
