Lets define construction lines.

I understand them to be the any lines created that are part of the building process of a drawing.

Box shapes to find centers, squares to create circles, perspective lines, tic marks, notional spaces, repeating angles, repeating verticals, horizontals ect

Is this what you mean?

i think its you own decision how to use them, so a tutorial would be useless! when you draw something, youll automatically see what you cant get right without construction lines!! eg, if the shoulders look wrong, draw a line in there. if you dont get the twist of the body, draw a line in there! hope that helps....?

The Scott Robinson stuff you have is a good start. And by checking your sketch book you are already using construction lines.

The examples given by others are goods way to go about it.

the more you practice it the better you will get with it. Keep breaking things down into simple shapes and volumes.

The cube/rectangle is easy to divide into 1/2 and 1/3 ect so its a good shape to start with. Knowing how to make these divisions is important.

but to answer your 1st question

the Scott Robinson stuff is good, and Industrial Design drawing books might have something....

In the end it breaks down into to cubes and perspective. Once you get the cube down you can create the sphere, column, cone etc and other constructive shapes.

These lines are typically removed by the artist so finding good examples can be difficult.

This probably doesn't give any immediate help, but if you experience 3D modeling, such as box or subdivision surface modelling, there are parallels to this and drawing with constructions.
