The Script was against him...

Photoshop 7.0, lots of bevel and emboss, and images grabbed off the web. And of course the text tool. More an excercise in Photoshop use than painting, but whatever.

I had WAY too much fun with today's topic. It really grossed out people who saw what I was working on. :D

I wound up going for a super villian instead of a super hero - Poison Ivy.

I love seeing all these takes on retired superheroes! So much good stuff!

quick one...sketched then painted. Lots of common themes here (sitting in chair and walking with cane). good job all.

old, unsteady, old colours for costume too...one last crime fight.

Not a very inspired rendition. Kind of bored/hungry. At least he's old!!

I haven't posted here often, and actually never for a DSG but couldnt resist this topic. I dont consider myself a painter by any means, but figured I would throw down some quick brush strokes :)
And, yes, I do acknowledge "The Icredibles" as big time inspiration on this.

lol @ Withdrawn's catwoman. It looks so moody :D Great job!
All the kittens around having fun, and with her smack dab in the middle like a buffer for the happyness. Contrast. Gotta love it.

Wish I had more time to do a background and more with the picture. I usually draw it out first, scan it and then import it into photoshop.

I've been a fan of CA for a little bit, and enjoyed seeing people's DSG and whatnot, but this time i finally got the guts to participate on a fun subject. First one is the flash, but wheel-chair ridden, second is just some guy i made up, but he's wearing a diaper, and the last one ended up looking kind of like plasticman, so i took it in that direction.
