true, academics are important, which is why I like to take what I've learned and point discover them in the master's pieces as well :) and seeing the famous art you notice that it isn't that different than modern artists who either do oil paint (or even other medium), and some are realistic and others are emotional. It's like seeing how it's all the same, which is a pretty cool feeling.
