My Bedroom Wall! A Call for help....

FELLOW CONCEPTART.ORGIANS!

I am calling out for your help tonight with a rather odd request.

You see, in a fit of rage during a moment of artistic blockage/spasticity, i ripped down a giant ferrari flag that originally adorned my entire bedroom wall.

As always, out of frustration was born the desire for good art - and so i decided to (as the french would say) Le Decorate! Ha!

SOOOOO..... I want all of your help to DECIDE what I should put on my wall. I want something that reflects the community of CA.org, something that conveys the spirit of good art, something sleek and stylish.

I would prefer it to be black and white, however, as i want to stencil it on and use spraypaint as im not nearly confident enough to paint colours on the wall and botch it!

I am also considering a cool looking stylised character similar to those in Lungbug's sketchbook, or graphiti - inspired like el coro........

I really dont know, so any suggestions welcome!!!!!!

how about a gloomy landscape with some really cool char on it? covering the whole wall... but i guess it would most likely only work with colors. im currently thinking of doing something similar as i already painted one of my walls (with band logos XD). Go for it, Form

I thought about concept art. org as a community of which i am now a part. Ive only been here for a few months, but already i am playing online games with ppl, talking or opencanvasing for hours, and often meeting up in real life for a movie or drinks or whatever.

I realised that ca.org is a real community and not just a front to post up art - i 'know' these people now.

So i decided that Im going to do a tribute to concept art - and everything that has inspired me sinc ei arrived here. I honestly have ca.org to thank for making me realise that this is the direction i want to take in life.

God that was mushy...ahem.

Basically what im going to do is get the dimensions of my wall and then create a scale image in photoshop. In that image i am going to place avatars, photos from the 'what we look like' thread, works of my favourite artists, humerous quotes and signatures, some of my own work, as much as i can that will bring back these memories of inspiration.

Im putting them on my wall in the hopes that if im ever down about art, or i think im going nowhere, ill be able to look at it and remember how easy it was to get inspired by art.

Hell, you never know. One day when im famous, my wall might be worth a lot!

tell you waht would be cool a detailed interior picture painting on one side in the style of blade runner etc. Then this could change into a huge calm view nice clouds somewhere along the lines of metropolis the anime one with zepplins in the sky or something. You could have that on 3 ways then a nice bit of graphhit (spelling). Sorted

By the way does anyone know a website or anywhere which sells graphtti as art mounted? i need some for my room.

Interesting idea Georgem, im very set on having one wall be the CA inspired montage, but morphing that into a grand landscape would be cool too! well, theres 2 walls..........

good idea form

projects like this one are extrmemly fun and rewarding
when i moved back home after college - i HAD to change my room
i completely emptied it and painted the entire room white - it was like one huge surrounding blank canvas, it was a great feeling

i ended up painting a bunch of geometric shapes in interesting positions - strong lines of varying gray colors going everywhere, circles and sharp edged triangles
like i said, it was really fun - have a good time with it and im sure it will come out great
