very hard comments please
its an illustration for xmas cards. this is my first watercolour, ever. (some gouache for highlights) the meduim suits me better than acrylics. four hours of work alltogether. im not particlarly happy about the middle/decorated tree.

thanks in advance

... is it me, or was christmas just a month ago? :P

Anyways, hard comments you want, and the hard comments I can come up with you shall get.

The sky looks great, no crits there.

Lose the white outline of the trees, and while your at it, add some snow to them. The trees should cast shadows, too.

The problem, I think, with the middle tree is that you have not shaded its bottom. It should be gradually darker from bottom to top (if only a little).

phew, that sounded bad.

For a christmas card, I really like the picture, though, and if you hadn't asked for comments, I'd say that I'd probably pick it over most other cards available.
