Because before it was kind of natural to me(Even without any studying at the time) .I would get out a pieces of paper do a few doodles, sketches and there you go something like or similar to what.I had in a dream or a random image in my head at that moment and it flowed... but now every time.I try to do something from imagination it either comes out without any mood or realness to it or it's something i have done before and that's bugs me.

Now i am starting to get a little piss about it because nothing is coming out that i can say" Hey that's awesome lets do another one " and it's more like" Hey Damn that sucks ass let me watch TV or read" and maybe that's the wrong approach. But it's till the same, i try looking a references , another people's art to help me understand but no dount .

So what can help me bring out my imagination and put it on paper and what could be stopping me from doing so:a?:

Thanks!

Sorry about the small rant!

Well I think a lot of artist true dream is to be able to get down on paper there glorious things they imagine, how they acheive this is through maticulous practice.

when you look down and say "man that sucks lets go watch TV," don't go watch TV... the big secret is not to give up so easily and just try again. The second sketch might suck, the 10th sketch might still suck, even the 100th sketch might suck but I promise you that as long as you keep sketching eventually you'll get better. But you need to remember that getting better is a slow, slow, slow process. So, you need to keep doing it and if you need some reassurance that you are getting better just look at the first sketch and compare it to the 100th, Im sure you see improvement.

The really sad thing is that it may be the things you imagine that suck, not the way you put them on paper. It happened to me.
