Prismacolors?

I want to get myself some nice, quality colored pencils. Would Prismacolor pencils be a good choice?

Also, I tend to color thickly with colored pencils, so I'm looking for some colored pencils that would look good in layers (I have some ones with high wax content (Ticonderoga) and some bad ones without much (Crayola) and the Ticondoga work better but I don't have many colors.)

Yeah, I've seen that tutorial, it's amazing!! I'm not sure I'd be confident enough to go seeking out the inks and the gouche to try that on my own, but if prismas are the best, I'll consider buying them. Thank you!
