I'm looking for an illustrator to adapt one of my pilots into a graphic novel. I have a very very small budget,but I'm paying if this "partnership" works. I am looking for someone who's art compliments my writing kind of like Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons 50/50. I will eventually be setting up a website to give snippets of the stories with the option to buy.I am currently looking for literary agents to represent my work,but I know that if I could nail the visual side of my work it would help in snagging myself a rep. I would use the site to draw potential studio heads into adapting our works. I will also be posting music from the several musicians in the electronica/soundtrack genre and creating links for people to purchase their music. The site is a new idea,but one I think would really work,considering we are all very visual people. I also want it to be fun and lucrative. Again if your looking to pay the bills with this project, I couldn't promise that at the beginning,but with my contacts in the industry I promise this will work. I envision your work large in HD imagery going hand in hand with amazing music and an amazing story all of which can be purchased. Lets create worlds. If this sounds cool please email me at

Let me know if you're interested in the following:

We are producing a company brochure that will feature a custom color illustration on its cover.

Or idea is that the composition will likely include an image of a company branded concept truck -- a more rounded and modern take on a Good Humor style truck. The truck should look aerodynamic with an appearance that is funky, hip, fluid, kinetic, etc. without being so futuristic that it looks like the Jetsons. Our company is generally branded with liquid and motion as a theme, and blue is a constant. The truck will be stopped on a downtown street with the driver and others handing out beverages from window on the side the truck. People in the scene will vary in age and demographic, from businessmen to mother and child.

There should be copyspace included for a headline and our logo.

Required: Skilled experience with illustration or painting. Fast turnaround. Ability to modify illustration based on art direction.

Compensation: $500-$1000.

Turnaround: Completion by 9/17/10.
