I've been wanting to do a plasteel B/W soldier for a while now. I made it more organic than a 'stormtrooper' and added some V-like knobs here and there to add something more to it.
Could be an UT2003 or fps model if anyone feel like modelling. I could skin.

i love how your small brushstrokes add so much detail to your pieces
should start a thread off this design, have people throw their own in there, its a very striking visual

NICE FACE - from the side the head looks a little shallow, like it could be longer from front to back that is (just going from the little head doodle in the corner). anyway great look and feel, IMO one of your more original things lately. love the greys. makes me want to do more carbonfiber plasticy beige things.
oh and why the hell arent you working? we need these designs in games.

Very nice atomic, you used a sculpt tool of some sort?
I started on a lowpoly version in MayaPLE. This is my first 'successful' attempt to do anything in 3d (not counting the stuff I did in Imagine 3.0 ten years ago).

Updated the 3d model pic above. I guestimated it would be around 1500 when I started and it ended up at 1513... Will make some minor fixes to the torso but it's pretty much finished, 'cept for cleaning up and UV mapping of course... bleh.

very nice design, I like where the cooled edges of the armour suggests there are veins throughout the exoskeleton. model seems to be coming very nicely too :chug:
