Good work everyone!
I was able to spend some more time for drawing today as usually finally :)
pencil drawing, inked over, pencil erased, scanned, coloured with photoshop; took me about one and a half hour all together if i remember correctly.

Ah, here it is, a bit late, though :)
anyways, there should have been more people in it, but what the hell. I didn't get any technology incorporated, either...

Nice pics, guys!
Changes from contemporary humans is the skin colour, (the strange loss of vanity :D), the finlike protusions on calves and forearms, the hands, hair loss and ears.
Hm, what to draw now, the time is only 1 am...

artistic doodle... 10 min...
our brains will probably continue to evolve...
ears and nose will loose importance...
eyes will grow... fishy...
feet and hands might become like fins...
we might still have to breath though... like dolphins and whales...

Bleah. Classes were boring today, so I spent more time than I should have on today's sketch. I spent about 15 minutes putting color on it and such when I got home...

don't really have much of an explanation for this one. i guess you could say its more of a bottom dweller concept with a mostly human skeleton.. but it does have that cool see-through skin and glowy insides like those little fish! lots of good work today!

Here's a woman of the new evolving species tending to her coral reef garden. Their skin is pale to better recieve vitamin D through the skin in a cold environment, and the membrane stretched between toes and arms appears red, due to the translucency of the actual skin (the blood vessels color it red). Their eyes are enlarged and their ears are in the process of shrinking, to about the size of a seal's ear, and their tail bone has extended to create an extra appendage for pushing through the water. Pinky toes have vanished and the hair on the head has become fine and almost invisible. A line of thickened hair trails down the spine. Their noses have flattened and become more efficient at keeping water out of the nasal passages.
This is the third drawing with my new WACOM and I'm still shaky with it. I'm not sure how to move layers around in painter so I accidently combined them and made it tough for myself.
