here are two hippo pics i made from photo refs that are tiny (the beasts' heads being the size of your thumbnail)...i have good eyes. the top one i drew last night, the bottom one i just drew....quite the improvement for overnight IMO....let me know whatcha think of em.

I like their expressions alot, the first one looks more serene, and feminine, and the second more masculine, and really pissed off!
