mouse troubles...

some virus or adware or sompin' is on my computer.. it keeps fuckin' with my mouse jerking it arround selecting things..

probobly some joke program a friend put on ... but as you can imagine it's making it hard to use my tablet.

I've used McAfee VirusScan... and Ad-Aware I keep deleating things but it keeps happening..

any advice?

not really a virus expert, but I've never heard of a ad-ware invade your PC like that. Its probably a virus, maybe even a trogen ( not sure if they can mess w/ your mouse, but the virus controller can access info from your pc.) Try updating your virus scan.

There was an app that I found years ago that was called 'Drunken Mouse' (or something similar). It was an exe that when it was run your mouse would skip all over the place every so often. The more you ran it, them more it would skip. The only way to end it was to Task Manager it and end it's process.

You may have that app installed and it is set to run on startup. As you said, a friend may have installed a joke app. Just check out your Task Manager and see if there are any odd processes running.
