the style is gorgeous, I love them.

If anything, the backgrounds are a pretty boring.

Oh and rather than starting a new thread...Here's a cartoon that I finished up too...I will be the first to admit the idea is rather cliche...but it was my spin on an old idea..

and again Seraph the background leaves something to be desired..

The cartoon is absolutely hilarious! I've haven't seen anything like it but going to email it to a couple of friends.

With the first image, I'm not a big fan of 'outer glows'. The main thing it needs is a shadow to help ground the characters. With the 2nd image, it might just be my computer but the blues and blacks are too close to one another. Maybe that is intentional but it does make it a little hard to 'read'.

still laughing about that cartoon!

Thanks Matt! Feel free to e-mail it or re-post where you like...

You were spot on about the outer glow....that was used to create seperation from foreground to background...hehe dammit foiled again!..:D needs some new techniques.

As for the second image...ya know something..it isn't your computer..it's mine...on my firends monitor her outfit looks extemely dark..and all detail in shading has been lost...My monitor is a p.o.s...I'll try reworking it a bit....

Thanks again for your comments.

Just a nit-pick about grammar. It always sucks to kill a joke with something distracting that a little sanity-check wouldn't cure. I say grammar because "who's" is a real word, spelled correctly. But it is a contraction of the two words "who" and "is". The possessive form of "who" is the word "whose". I always get them confused and the only way I can remember is by remembering he and her and it don't have apostrophes in their respective possessive forms (i.e. his, hers, and its) so neither should who.

Yeah, this is all minutia but the rest of my impressions have been said by other people already so I had to say something other than: "cool pictures, dude".

BTW: cool pictures :D
