Fingernails

Character design is not exactly my forte...and I'm not so sure about the background. There might also be some anatomy issues I haven't noticed.

i think the hand could use some work maybe pick up a few refrences to work from,looks as if she has only 3 fingers. Try to use a color when using black as a shadow, for the background i think you should take time and create something for the background instead of going a blue white blue style unless that is what you prefer....her body looks as if she is leaning on something, maybe work with that with your background...i think with some time and a little fixes it will def. turn out great :D

If you downsize the image a bit more before you post it's easier to see what the overall result would be. It's hard to see by scolling, but I think her head is too small, the 'v' of her hair in the forehead is offcentre too. Nice start though. The green is interesting. She looks a little cold in that snowstorm though ;)
