Well not dead per-say, but it moves really slowly more then once I've replied to threads that are at least a month old without noticing it because it's on the first page of the section.

Am I the only one that thinks CA moves really slowly?

What's your point?

Hit "new posts", Danny, on the strip along the upper part of the page - that will give you plenty to keep busy. :)

It moves at a pretty good pace imo. If I come here everyday, it seems like all old topics, but if I leave for a while it will seem pretty fresh with a good amount of new topics created. I like it when forums are like that.

Quality over quantity.

I'm not really sure what you are expecting? This particular section moves more slowly than some areas of the forum, and faster than others. I'd also say this is a fairly active forum over-all considering the foundation is grounded in realistic style and focused primarily on concept art / illustration. Compared to other sites with a similar interest base, this forum is actually quite active.

Eh some reason I feel that before I should draw something I should lurk the forums.

I guess and yeah I can tell some parts are active, daily drawing etc. I used to go on CG society before I found this place, that forum is really active guess it's my fault for comparing the two.

Maybe you should try drawing some. Not spending all day on forums hitting F5.
You'll find that after you get online from doing some art.. the forum has moved! :O

I come here pretty often, usually about 3 times a day and there's loads to read. There are even sections I haven't touched yet because I do need the time to go and actually draw.

Useless threads are not the answer.
