Hello everyone,
I've been lurking for quite a while and this week I've been inspired to jump in. I'm not new to sketching but as I'm pretty much self taught I definitely could use some pointers.
I don't have much to contribute right now. Atm, I've got a submission for the DSG which you can see below.

Goals & Hurdles
I'd like to improve upon:
Values, perspectives, portraits, speed sketching. I'm afraid of color highlighting and shading so I'll be working hard on that as well. Need to learn how to use a tablet.
I've a passion for:
Concept, Fantasy, digital illustration, ooak polymer sculptures.
Currently I'm working on: A Draconian Guard sculpture, about 10" high.

My DSG Contribution
I've always liked the Daily Sketch Group forum and I'm glad I've decided to join in. The picture below is a little late and very unfinished but I'm very slow with illustrating and eventually had to set a time limit for myself. Took about 3 hours with an old PsP program (version 9) and a very rickety mouse. I have a tablet but I'm still shy about using it. It has been a very faithful paperweight over the past few months.
I can see a lot of mistakes in the below image and would like to eventually wean myself off of keeping lines to keep the form. Feel free to critique if you're interested.
