Creating a brush from multiple images?

I currently use GIMP, but I'm trying the CS4 demo. I thought there might be more functionality in the custom brushes. But right now I can't even figure out how to make a brush out of multiple images. Am I missing something, or is this actually not possible in CS4?

There's a tool called 'image hose' in Painter which may do what you're thinking of.

In photoshop, you can create some randomized strokes using the scatter and various other settings.

Yeah, the shape and color dynamics are great. Exactly the sort of thing I was looking for... if I could just apply it to the multi-image brushes I've been making in GIMP.

Thanks for the tip about Painter, I'll definitely take a look at that.
