Ok, so a friend of mine convinced me to post my stuff here so I can get some honest crits on how I can improve. So tell me what you think!

They're great! I'd love to see them in a context/ some sort of environment, though ;)

Thanks a lot. :) I actually planned to do that and hopefully I will pretty soon. I have a much smaller ship almost finished, so it should be up by tomorrow. Thanks for the feedback!

Here is another spaceship... Not as pleased with this one as I was with the bigger one.

I think if you put your spaceship in a surrounding it would look much better, then you can get your shades right, using reflective colour etc...

Also, close attention to detail, have you tried using references - like industrial images - you can use these to inspire parts/patterns onto your ships~!

I've left the spaceship behind me, got lots of new projects. Thanks for stopping by. :)

I wonder what I'll make tomorrow... To anyone reading this; ideas are always welcome.

You should design a character, your bald guy, the paint strokes and values are nice, and stick to greyscale~~~

Good luck!

Just noticed something... None of my characters have hair except the TF2 character... and even he doesn't have a whole lot. XD

here's a new character... I'm not really happy with the face... Also, this one will have hair eventually. Suggestions, paintovers, crits, all are very welcome.

You've got a good start here. My favorite is the ship on the first post.

I'd recommend trying out more color variation in your concept work. You understand light and dark, but have applied these variations in value to the same color.

Keep it up!

Thank you so much, it means a lot to crits from someone as talented as yourself. :) Also... your avatar scares the living shit out of me.

Remind me of this movie with these mouth monster in the desert that chomp down on vibration they hear.

His face looks like a tough guy. Doesn't seem very happy. The guy is huge like basketball player.

Been working on a few spaceship concepts. I'd really like some crits on this one cause I think it looks pretty decent. :)

So I worked some more on the spaceship and this is what came out of it. Once again, crits are very welcome!

I think on the anatomy study his right arm should be inverted. you know, closer to his shoulder. I understand the pose, but I think it would make more sense in that way. I like the first spaceship, but as someone suggested, you should put those things in some envrionment to give it more personality and dimensionality. It's a good start. I would suggest posting sketches, and working more on your character posing.

nice start mate.Keep studying the basics to expand your horizons.
Maybe focus a little in anatomy as a basic aspect for a lot of things
keep up :)

Thanks for all the feedback guys! (and girls) Someone mentioned enviornments... I'm not good at drawing them and I really don't know where to start... if someone has some pointers on how to get me started, I would love to try it. :)
