Hey guys. I'm in 11th grade now. I've been doing some form of art all my life. I've only been obsessed with it for about 1 or 2 years now. Still, I think I have the skills needed to get into a good art school. I've heard a bunch about a school called Ringling. I checked out their site, and I read over the classes, I couldn't stop smiling. I knew that I had to go to a place like that. But, flordia is a long way from Virginia where my family is. Its not that I'm afraid to go off, its just coming home. My family doesn't have tons of money to keep sending back and forth from florida to virginia. I was just wondering if there were any alternitives to Ringling?

Hey Anarchy, I know what you mean. You can check into MICA, where a friend of mine is currently attending (and loves the atmosphere).

Since you're 'out of state', you'd have a better chance of getting in there as well (like ringling)

Hey sic, thanks. That seems like an ideal place to go to. Of course, I'll look into other schools but the location is good, and the school seems nice.
