Hello there CA!
My names Lype and I'm the owner of a brand new VPS, or Virtual Pet Site. It's only small at the moment, there is only 5 of us working on this project at the present time, but we're looking to expand and add some new artists to the team.
Let me first give you an overview of the website itself, called The Hollows:
The Hollows is a Virtual Pet Site, based about virtual pets which you care for, play games with and explore a vast and unique environment with. The Hollows itself is set underground, in caves and caverns underneath a Earth which was once torn apart by war. The story goes that a group of humans stumbled apon this new world to escape from the war which raged above and uncovered creatures like they had never seen before. These people soon became friends with the creatures, and once again, peace fell over their new homes but deep within the core of the planet, an evil is beginning to wake...
VPS's have been around for a while now, we're not the first and by no means the last, but we already have a small following of people eagerly anticipating the release of the site. In the past, some sites have made global sucess, bringing in millions, so with a well thought out project, this could turn out to be rather prosperous too.
What we're looking for:
The art for a project like this is vitally important. Anyone applying must have a very creative and vivid imagination as there are very few limitations, we need you to be able to create wonderful enviroments and characters from basic discriptions. Specifically, we're looking for:
Human Character Artists
Enviroment Artists
We will take a look at others, but these are what we're looking for at the moment.
We do have a website already set up and you can visit the development forums there too: The Hollows (http://hollowpets.com)
We do already have some art completed in different areas of the site:

These are just Two of the pets, we plan to have Many more species, and as you can see, they're rather unsual.

These are some items on the site. Players will be able to interact with these items in diferent ways, such as use them, feed them to their pets, or plant them in the ground and grow them, to name a few examples.
