There are a couple of workshops near Inland Empire, too. Actually they are run by a same guy. One is at dA Art Center on Thursday nights at 7:00PM. (the workshop is underground and it can get really hot in the summer.) The other is at a classroom at Scripps College in Claremont, on Saturday mornings at 9:30AM.
There are also workshops at Santa Fe Art Colony. I don't go there often because it's too far from home.
