Concept art and an experiment from a guy new to the forum

I have been mucking around with adding colour in Photoshop to a greyscale shaded pencil drawing. I like the result, but ‘Im not sure this is the path for me, sill it was interesting.
Feedback welcome

Very nice rendering work and on balance a cool image. If you check out http://www.sofos.com/adi/ and go to the tutorials section, this might give you some ideas.

I too have come across the problem of trying to paint previously shaded pencil drawings in PS...needless to say it's a pain.....Although judging from your work you don't seem to having a problem..;)

If your worried about the 'manly' comment could I suggest widening the hips slightly. I personally see nothing wrong with a strong looking women, but the pelvis could easily and safely be widened. This would create more of the hourglass figure asociated with being an attractive women.

Those things on her back look like giant ink pens. What are they meant to be?

I have no problem with the pencil work and the way its coloured.
