That is very nice and elegant! I really like how you've worked various sections to varying degrees to create interest in the image. The face might be a tad bit dark in this respect compared with the rest of the image but only just a little. Something a little strange with the layering of plants and the like at her feet, the space just feels a little weird.

I really don't know what else to say. Did you use a photo reference for this image?

Thanx for the C&C Matt and yeah I used photo reference for this. I try to take reference for everything. Even when I have a good idea of what I want in a painting it always helps to have some kind of reference material.

fantastic work! I like the fading of the flowers into the bg very much... simple, yet looks so cool. I'd have to agree with Matt about the area around her feet. I think its the placement of the roses that's making it feel odd... acting kinda like a continuation of the end of her dress. Maybe removal of those roses would help. I suggest to change the color, but that would ruin the pink/green theme ya got going and would probably make it look more weird.

Honestly I think this is great...but the background is annoying the hell out of me. Much of the image is lit it would seem like somewhat of a sunny day...then the background looks very foggy. I really dont know what else to say about it, I have a ton of problems with backgrounds myself...but I do know that the background here is bothering me.
