i remembered a topic that talks about this but i couldn't find it in search.

i remember this sketchbook being suggested:

(dickblick has a $7 dollar shipping fee omg)

if by any chance someone has this classic ecru sketchbook is it perforated with smooth drawing surfaces.
i am not going to uses this to doodle around i rather use looseleaf paper, so i am drawing the final thing in the sketchbook.

i also know about the moleskine sketchbooks but they are too small for me.

if you don't own the classic ecru sketchbook, can you suggest a good smooth surface, but not too smooth like printing paper. with perforated sides, and wirebound.

thank you

The ecru sketchbook has some tooth to it, it's not totally smooth. Moleskine is about as smooth as printer paper though, so I don't know what you want. The last page of my sketchbook has some drawings done on that ecru paper, if you want to see.

I think bristol is perhaps the smoothest. My teacher recommends it for long poses. Quite expensive though.

does bristol have perforated edges? because i might rip off pages.

and i decided on smoothness of printing paper since i will be drawing with detail for the finished drawings.

and does it stand up to alot of erasing?
o yeah does this have smooth pages?
