i recently purchased my intous 4S :D and its awesome ^^ soooo awesome :D

so i just wanted to start a new beginning in drawign by myselfe and ill post the results of my work here :D ..

i hope you like em and i also hope ill get better realy fast xD :rocker:

snootchy has the right idea, work on proportions. Do lots of studies, bridgman and loomis are really common to study, and for a reason.

If you want to improve fast make sure you draw half from imagination and half from studies. I'd recommend refining your drawing skills way before you start using color too, you can't really learn color without having first learned value.

keep updating this thing to keep yourself in line too!

Agreed completely with ^.

www.posemaniacs.com is also a good place for reference and study work with anatomy and proper perspective. It also has a BIT of light source stuff too, but that's usually just by doing light drawings.

Try out the 30 second pose or random pose viewer, and just draw what you see, no matter HOW hard it might seem. I know a few of them on there makes me rip my hair out, but you feel very VERY accomplished when you've done a hard one.

Just keep at it. Look forward to seeing more. :geekg:

thx for all the tipps about how i can improve my skills :D ill give this a try aafter i get some more time. for now i need to work hard and cant realy draw that much T_T ...

she looks soo sweet :drool: great work especially love the colours, her left hand's a little bigger than her right (our left) & her neck seems a tiny bit wider than it should be, everything else is ace :D your imaginary stuff needs some work on the proportions but like you said lots of practice should help a lot with that :)

So I was looking at the paintings in your first post, and I really like them, then I saw the sketches on the grid paper thinking "they're interesting, but could use a lot of practice", then I saw the girl in the red dress and nearly dropped my coffee, where the heck did that come from!!! :D Haha!

xD thx :D ... its one of my better works i get some time for ... my biggest prop on drawing is time ... and i dont got much so i draw some doodles and so on ... but when i got time, i realy try to get into details and work more accured ... like the lady one :D

heres a litttle little update from tomarrow ... its just an arm of an samurai .. but hey!!! better then nothing right? ^^

draw more with pencil and paper, it will help your digital stuff alot.

hmmm so many peaple say this to me .. seems like they are all right ... but i dont like to draw with pencil couse i need to rub a duck every 5 strockes i made -.-" ... and this is soooo frustrating to me so i give up on like 5 mins or something ...

Next prop is that i "seems like" got a prop with drawing from imagination (just even if i see the pic) couse my head try to think on 3D versions of the pic and the hole perspective and so on get shitty when this happens ...

On digital drawing this "bad little virus worm thing in my head" seems to sleep and i can draw just as i would like to ... i dont know why this happens but its sooo damn frustrating every time i draw on paper and see my bad result T_T

i just got some more time to draw them :D ... thats what happend ^^ ...

for me one of the biggest problems are that i dont realy got that much time to draw and if noone draw with me or watch me drawing i get bored very fast and dont put much work on a drawing T_T ... i know thats bad and sad and .. A REALY BIG FAILURE !! :D ...
