Hey Friends! I'm currently working on a short film for school.

Working title - Bill Cosby VS The Eye

It's all about how Bill Cosby finds the Ring of Power and ends up fighting "The Flaming EYE" for Middle Earth. Should be a good one

Some of you might have seen my WIP for the Bill Cosby model in the concepts in 3D section...
3D Bill Cosby Model Thread (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14614&highlight=cosby) http://www.artofbob.com/images/cosby_expressions01.jpg

This is a final composite of the background for the scene where Cosby is on the tower with the EYE. The tower will be in front of the bg.

BIG THX TO ALL THOSE that gave me C&C in the WIP section. It was nice getting some good feedback!

Everything is painted in Photoshop 7. no effects. composited in After Effects.

this is a full view of the entire background (even though u will never see the entire bg at once in the film)

the camera movement is a bit weird, it goed sideways really quick and then goes back a bit slower..

also the sun shouldn't be getting smaller when the view is backing up.

hehe... I haven't seen the other thread but the concept sounds really funny and interesting. The models that you've created looks pretty cool and I like the background that you've come up with. I had a look at the quicktime movie and it looks great. Maybe I'm missing something but are you going to overlay elements in the foreground to tell a story (as at the moment, with the clouds going by, it probably only needs to be a few seconds long).

My god, that's like the best idea for anything ever.

Can't wait to see how this turns out.

okok it's not the sun, but it's still the same.. you gotta work in layers for your mountains.. mountains in the back will not move as much as the mountains in the back. same with the clouds.
