Hello all,

I've got a comic project I'd like to get started and would like to find an artist to bring it to life. Ideally, I'd want pencils and inks, or pencils, inks, and colour if possible (it's cool if you only do pencils).

I'm looking for someone with an interest in animation. This is because the story incorporates characters who stylistically recall different eras of animation. Think Looney Tunes through to 80s cartoons all the way up to now (inc. anime). Fleischer stuff, Hanna-Barbera, etc, etc. If you aren't capable of handling all of that as well as having decent sequential chops (and I know its a tall order!), please don't bother contacting me. I really don't want to waste your time.

Ideally, I'd like 5 pages of art so that I can shop it around or find other interesting things to do with it. One 5 page assignment would fall under the category of "Small Freelance Jobs" as defined by this forum, so please keep this in mind when considering your page rate. If all goes well, though, I would hope we could work together for the duration of the project.

Please send me a link to your sequential samples—that's art that tells a story, not pin-ups, concept art, etc.—and page rates to samiad5@hotmail.com , and let's see what we can work out. Cheers!

Sam.

Hey all,

Just wanted to say that In have now found an artist for this project and am considering this posting closed. I do however have another project I am searching for an artist for and will post an ad shortly. Its of a different tack to this one, so if you weren't up for this, you might fancy that one!
