Ok here's some recent sketches and one latest portrait I've made. I think I'll work some more on this one with umbrellas, I like the composition. Actually when my new intuos arrives I plan to rush on painting
portraits and characters, 'cus it is my weakest point. I ain't got problems in painting them traditionally but when it comes to PS I feel like I been brainwashed xD

Beautiful sketchbook. Those watercolours in particular are gorgeous.

Something about the most recent one isn't quite reading for me though. Something to do with the perspective on the umbrellas.

That was why I started my forum, so people can critique my work and tell me what is bad and right in their eyes. So thanks again :). Yeah I am going to try and put all the knowledge I have on to a bigger paper, with studies of full body parts. Will see whats gonna come up from that. About the heads, that was just a try :). I want to learn a bit of everything, so I can build up later. I believe the head (as well as the whole body) is a long way run, so I ll be frequently drawing heads and such. The idea with sketchbook is great :) the bad thing is that I am either at home drawing, or at school staring at a teacher (waste of time, and I cant even draw)... I will figure that out tho. I really like your work those paitings are so great. Especially how you develop from a basic idea to a full rendered picture. Are you working on other parts of Concept art as well? Hope to see more soon.

Ironically I've never painted from observation in PS. So here's my first one as you can see quick and rough. Screw the background xD Took me about 1h. Feel free to correct it.

I still dont feel it because im not used to do SF stuff on such large paper (100x70cm). Charcoal. Its tracks are like this in artillery mode to provide stabilization while shooting.
