whats is your brush setting?(normal, multiply ect)
What is the layer setting? (normal, multiply ect)

Is there a selection hidden?

mind posting the image in stages? since the psd would probably be too big.

brush and layer settings is what I was thinking, but
it still happens when you restart Photoshop right marco?

you could do a crop of a section that's giving your trouble and
send that tiny image .psd to my email (mailto:eddicomelab@hotmail.com) adders.

Marco, you didn't tell me you were colouring the picture with adjustment layers.
That's insane, well, I've never tried it before. That's pretty good actually, but I don't know, it feels like you could just do it all with 2-3 layers, and I'm still trying to figure it out. Gaaah.

I was going to suggest to make flats out of the final gray or lined picture.
Much like comic book workflows.
If I can find a link as to how they do it I'll send over yeah.

Did you see this type of workflow being used by someone?

I'll update if I can figure it out. Otherwise, I'm really lost for words. Sorreeee bro.
