the color really gives a weird feel. onen that i like, but it isnt realistic or cartoony..its just some kind of cross....all your definition of shapes and rendering is great, but then there is no reflection of color at all.
the lighting is great as well, nice work. I would like to see a little more color than blue and brown next time though for sure =o)

I have, probably, the same issues with the color. While brigher colors would have created a 'cartoony feel', going with the colors you've decided it just seems a bit plain (might have been what you went for.. but for some reason i feel that it looks 'wrong'). So increasing the effect the light-sources has on the cloth would probably produce the effect one would be looking for. Also the same lightsource-and-effect problem seems to be present in the background aswell... or the contrast between the character and the background is just a little bit off balance because atleast one of them should be blessed with more 'light'.
No crits towards the drawing. It's a brilliant piece of work. but as stated above, only problem is the light :)
And by god, Keep up the good work :D

Great image, good pose, nice character, strange cape.
Why is his cape shaped like that? I actually like it, but it does slightly irritate me at the same time. Is there something hidden under it? It doesn't look 100% convincing, if it's meant to be swirling in the wind. Just nit picking here.
I am actually quite bored with seeing anime/manga type cartoons, but if this image and its colourisation was the set standard I would difinitely change my mind. great work!
