Hi everyone! This is my first post here.
I'm just learning - but don't be easy on me! I want to learn by cold hearted mean-assed crits. Thanks. ;)
Anyway. I'm painting a portrait from a reference. Here's where I'm at so far. I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

try and get some shaprness to the eyes and goggles..

I tightened up the eyes and goggles. ;) .,.. and a few other areas.
Made a couple fixes too.
I'm thinking about calling it finished and moving on. Any thoughts?

It is interesting to see how the image progressed and was built up. I guess if you could post the reference it would help if you wanted to nail specific areas. My comment would be that your darks aren't dark enough which has the overall effect of making the image look a little too washed out. You might also want to check his nose - something doesn't feel right about the way it comes to quite large bulbous lower area - the nostrils might be a tad small.

Thanks for the crits matt. I see what you're saying. But I'm going to call it a learning experience and move on at this point.
