based on a loose sketch i did some time ago...
wanted to push my coloring skills. Need more practise though!

hmmm... thank you guys for all the comments.
I must admit, that all this was not inteded as a WIP thread... i guess it just evolved! But its cool never the less.

This piece is supposed to be in my portfolio. Hope its good enough though! its the first of a series i am going to do in the near future.

Here is the final image now. I know it is more than flawless, but I actually spend way more time on it, as i should have!
I think i´ll have to be faster with the next ones though!

Allthough i allready spend too much time, i may add some cool gadgets, like some XXL necklace watch, or somthing like that! dunno. if you have any ideas regarding that, keep em comin´!

Cool pic, love the expression.

If I was going to use this in a portfolio, I would honestly think about producing a couple more. Because the main strength of this picture is the great expression, I think that a series of images with the same character and different expressions would create more of an impression than a solo piece.

Not trying to sound nasty, but many people can draw a simple character like this, BUT (the good bit) not every one has the ability to draw good expressions. Show of your strengths.

I guess you are right about that character stuff. I think i am going to do a series of this one char in different situations, and prolly with some backgrounds.
