View Full Version : Would anyone be interested in a free Intuos 2 tablet?

I've had a 6x8 Intuos 2 for a few years now, the pen is totally banged up. The little screw-on tip that holds the grip in place is missing, and the button won't stick to the pen. I have fixed both of these things with duct tape and it works fine that way, but it looks awful. The tablet itself is in good working condition, but it looks used. I just got a new tablet and pen off eBay and I don't need this one anymore, and I don't feel like going through the hassle of trying to sell it with the pen in this condition.

Before I throw it in the trash I thought I'd ask if anyone wants it, it works totally fine and is completely usable, it just looks like shit. You can probably buy replacement parts for the pen, or even get a new one and you'll have a decent tablet for cheap.

If anyone wants it you'd have to pay shipping if you can't come and get it in Stockholm, Sweden. If I put it between two pieces of cardboard in a jiffy bag it'll be US$40 (estimate) to the US, a few bucks cheaper within Europe, Maybe that's too expensive, but I can't really do anything about that, sorry.

For anyone who want's to meet me and get it, it's completely free, I also have the mouse and pen stand thingy for it. PM me I guess, I only have the one so first come first served.

How much is it GBP to ship to England? I'm near London at the moment so it'd be a bit tricky to get to Stockholm from here. Just wanted to see if I could afford it...

And the pen does work, yeah? Is it fiddly to draw with or is it literally just a case of it looking really bad?
And do you have the discs that came with it or is it easy to download the right drivers? (For Vista...)

You don't need the discs. Those drivers are way outdated anyway. As it's an old tablet.

Just download the latest drivers from the wacom site. Or just follow the link from the sticky on top of this forum.

The latest wacom driver is for Intuos 2,3 and 4 models.
