Fantastic Image.

However, I feel that the image actually needs more highlights.
With the amount of light (fire) coming from the head area and right hand corner, some of this should be reflected/shown on his upper body/shoulder area.

Plus, when I view an image of a match for instance, because of the high contrast of the flame, much of the surrounding background is darker in comparision. This would be the area around his feet etc that is furthest from the light source. Doing this may create a much stronger focus point.

But I still love this image.

amazing color but isnt there fire all around him since hes a fire guy.. that means more light instead of dark

lovely drawing grendel, i think the fire burnt him up like an overcooked turkey thats why hes all dark :cool:

hey guys thanks alot for the comments, this was a redesign of firestorm and I made his costume like a sheer black and red. this jpeg version is blurring the costume a bit though.

its amazing how colors can make you feel a certain way... like this peice made me feel scared at first then next i felt like crushing some ass......on more serious note though.. cool guy i think alittle more work on him (like they said) and it would mAKE the picture that much more interesting.. good work boss:D
