I really like the second one. I think the first one is lacking a bit in composition and I don't like the cloud effect but I think the second one is quite striking and full of movement and life. Well done!

I really like the second one with the soldiers, I love the way it was handled. I also like the tension of the flags that are blowing the opposite way I want them to blow. I think it would look good on my wall!

I don't like the pattern overlay on the castle. And I think the clouds, directly above the pattern, left of center, reinforce the V pattern and are really distracting.
I think that if you lost, or subdued the overlay pattern, softened the clouds, and brought the tower forward in front of the clouds (on the left especially) it would be more successful.

Macabre Magpie: Thank you for the compliments and suggestions!

A.K.A. : I agree that i overworked it in the clouds, they are really strong and not very combines with the castle, a deal they could soften and blend better with the scene, thanks!

Blitz: Thank you man, my process is the simplest possible, I simply I will paint with the colors of the head that comes and references, add layers and textures, and then come with dodge tool or layer to provide more realism, thank you for ask!

I really do like this piece, it's very dynamic and for me I like that sketchy almost unfinished look to a drawing to me it seems to have more personality, great job.

ahhhhh, those colors are so refreshing on the castle. I like the lose look personally. Im sure you already know you can render it as much as you like so I dont need to say that. I think its perfect how it is. I also enjoy how you made the sky in the soldiers pic as well.

I'm sure i'm not the only one who thought of this (http://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww128/vxzl364/merge.jpg?t=1249942087)! ;)

Except for that i second both the positive and negative comments on the first one. The castle is nice but the sky and fog could use a little more drawing and less "custom brushing". The more brushes and textures the harder to make them blend nicely together but you know they say practice makes perfect.

All the best.

Hyaloclastics: Thank you, no words to thank the praise.

Snowtiger: I thought it would not please with this unfinished state, good that someone has appreciated, thanks!

CoreyArt: Thank you, good you enjoyed the colors I will be studying how to use them more because i need much more to dominate them, or at least understand them.

beigeape: Tank you so much!!!

S.M: When I discovered the custom brushes I was like a child when they discover a new toy, and did not have enough maturity not to extrapolate, it will be working more and trying to leave less computerized!

I was working late in this character, I have little experience in working with black and white and then play a color layer and color, criticisms are always welcome, thank you for all of CA.
