Hey there! Thanks for the post in my SB! You have some really impressive stuff here! I do notice one thing though, the eyes on several of your human characters look a tad flat in parts. I think you would benefit from a page or two of eye studies (loomis helped me TONS in that department, look there if you have time!)

You should pay more attention to the edges of your paintings, they all seem to have blurry edges, instead of hard ones in addition to the soft ones to suggest a stronger lightsource. Keep on painting! The 3d works look awesome!

vshen, you have a lot of interesting creatures, and the form on most of your images reads very well. I would absolutely recommend using a harder brush on the edges, and it looks to me like you are using the dodge tool quite a bit. I would recommend getting off of that, because it increases saturation (and pumps all the way up to white).. this is not necessarily how color works across the form. Try using direct colors instead of dodge/burn lighten/darken tools. In the end it will give you more control and I think you will be happier with the results. Keep painting!

Fantastic SB, you have a really strong rendering style, particularly when it comes to texture, such as in the Rhino like creature from post #95.

I am also drawn to the creature in #101, it not only looks extremely creepy and eerie, but also strangely cute.

Good work you're doing! I think your paintings look a bit muddy though...it seems like you're using a bunch of little brush strokes rather than big strokes. Try using a bigger brush with a harder edge to define the plains of the figure better, then go into detail with a smaller brush. Keep it up :)

I really like your last couple of paints, they look cool but i'm personally not too fond of your newest one. To me it just feels a bit weird with the exaggerated proportions in the face (her "fish eyes" personally scare me :P) and how her arm is looking. Crit, crit! Your paintings are good, but like someone already mentioned, your colors could be cleaner. By clean I mean less desaturated. With too much grey, colors tend to look muddy and dirty. It's difficult but will make a huge difference when you get the hang of it. I think your paintings would look a bit nicer with more edge control too. :)
