]Well, what can I say? I love greek mythology and I had this idea.
The Goddess Athena coming to battlefield.
As you can see i`m still defining the armor design and stuff...

I`m not quite sure about the colors and lights on her armor... some tips? suggestions?

it looks like you've got a really strong side-light, and lots of potential for some sunset/sunrise color action in the armor and the clouds. But in some places it looks like you've got an up-light? It's not coming across clearly yet.

You'll need to watch out w/ that shield -- make sure the shadows/reflections it causes are convincing, it'll give the pose a lot of depth.

Some changes...

I decided to change to a better located background, which I`m going to work on, and I also made the armor darker on the front and the lights behind according to the BG. There are some reflections from the ground, cause I thought the grass would cause this so... yeah whatever, let`s keep it up.

I think it'd look better if the cloth was transparent, like some really thin silk. You could have all sort of cool light effects happen like near the sun. Also, don't be afraid to have some wonky colors in the armor. Metal is reflective, you can put blues and greens and reds to give the illusion of reflection.

I think its cool to have a stormy background behind her, maybe its swirling above? I'm not sure about the groundplane or the sun though, like you can't decide which way to go. If you want to keep both, you'll have to change the color of the clouds. The warm light from the sun should make those clouds much warmer, their highlights are still very blue.
As for the field, I'd choose something a little more interesting. If she's entering battle, where's the fight? Maybe its just a desolate ground with rivers of blood running through cracks, or something a little more lighthearted, haha.
The cloth is flowing very nice, just get some translucency in there from the sun if you keep it, its very thick right now. There should be glows softening the edges where the sun shines the brightest, and there should probably be a shadow for the cloth behind her shield. The cloth flowing on the bottom left will mostly be in shadow too, you're extending your light too much and it's flattening out (this also applies to her armor and hair).
Lastly, make sure your bronze doesn't go too green. You have a warm light, and brass or bronze will have a warm brown base, so just do a little color correct on that.
I like your idea and composition, and now that I look back I think your first color pass with the red and yellow clouds is much better. Good luck, and keep going!

Thanks fellas! I appreciate your comments and critics.

Ceddo, I tried to make some color tones as the grass reflecting the sunlight. Also clouds reflecting on her helmet, shoulder and breast. What do you think?

Well I tried... I don`t really know how to pull this off in a good way, rather than leave the layer in a low opacity.

the deadline is today, shit!
I made some changes here: BG and 2 hands, as a warrior is looking at Athena.

Even if I don`t get it finished in time, it`s been a good challange for me, and I enjoyed most of the entries.

I guess it will be a little bit better if the hands belong to a monster so that it will be alright if it was distorted and slimy... but that is just my opinion... good luck...
