CS4 memory leak?

Hello All,
I've purchased CS4 recently (upgrade from CS3)
and I've noticed that i cant run it longer then 2 hours before it starts crawling! it takes about a minute to do anything... anyone else experiencing the same situation? any solutions?

Photoshop reuses the memory it allocates. Photoshop will allocate memory up to the limit you set in preferences, then keep reusing that memory for other documents, presets, caches, etc.

You might try lowering the number of History states and see if that helps.
(In Photoshop press CTRL+K --> Performance --> top right)
