I first started going in July 2007, shortly after making an account on this website. I attended every other week, and then it became once a month. July 2008 was the last time I went though. Tomorrow will be my first time going back in a year, I'm pretty excited!

I haven't had the chance to attend one as of yet, but in September my college will be organising Life Drawing sessions exclusively for Art students, I can't wait :D I'll finally get to meet other people interested in art and possibly make artist friends! None of my friends are artists or take any interests in art, so being with people who appreciate it and are working hard towards their goals in art will be great for me. I'm looking forward to all the things I will be learning from the class.

Indeed, that is one of the things I really enjoyed about attending the sessions. I usually talk to one of the other people there about art. At one session, a young woman even came from across the room to sit next to me and talk to me. She complemented my drawings, even though those weren't coming out well (her's seemed a lot better).

it's hard to find life drawing sessions during the summer break, and if there are any, they usually cost like £180 for 10 weeks, which students cant really afford during the summer, or cant go to cause part time waiting jobs have shit hours that conflict with the classes >: (

but :teeth: luckily a local nightclub , yes, a nightclub has weekly 2-hour sessions for £4 a night, so me and my bf go every week.

Glad to hear you were able to find those cheaper sessions :) Maybe you should check out if there are any free sessions, at a library in Manhattan they offer free life drawing for an hour and a half.
