Hello everyone,

Each time when I visit this page I'm so impressed about the amazing stuff you all do. Everything is so detailled and just perfect.

I really love to sculpt, althoug I haven't done to much so far.
Now I started to sculpt a bust of one of my friends, the scale is 1:3.
The picture I use as refference has a bad quality, so sorry for that.

Maybe you can tell me what I should do to make it look more like her.
Thanks a lot!

Uum from what I can see it's pretty much spot on. At first I thought that the symetry was off but faces aren't symetrical and neither is hers, you've captured that well.

Just do the hair and the ears and I'm confident you'll be there. Good luck :-)

I think you're pretty close, but I'd recommend to build up the complete shape of the head and some ears first. Especially without ears (one of the most important reference/meassurement points overall, if you're familiar with Lanteri) things can look very wrong even if they're correct.

I'm really sorry for not answering all the time, but I left this project for a long time.
Finally I sculpted a complete new head, because I found to many mistakes, especially symmetrical mistakes as you already mentioned.

So here is the primed but still unpainted result:

That is a wonderful sculpt! Your friend should love it. The hair is great. I like the way you tilted her head. Really nice work!

thanks a lot!
I'm glad you like the sculpt and the position of the head as well.
