Hello conceptart,
I've been doing some thinking lately and I struck upon the thought of everyone remembering their height of drawing self-esteem. It's that idea, plus, how talent is involved.

For me, it was in 7th grade. I was in Art Class and the teacher told us to draw whatever we wanted. So, I drew whatever was in my head. And, miraculous to me, I put down some of my most confident and accurate lines with relative ease. All of the lines were exactly as I wanted them to be without correction. It was the happiest drawing session I'd ever had in my life thus far. My expectations were met perfectly. What I did may not have been the the best but it was better than most and I was pleased. I really wish I still had that piece of paper from that day.

That same year, I noticed one my classmates, who played guitar, was playing Ozzy, Van Halen, Zeppelin, Hendrix, and improvising all in the same session. It got me thinking.

However, whenever I went to High School, I didn't have time to take art classes and my marks became ridden with angst. Images started to fade away like the talent I thought I had.

Recently though, my talent has picked up again (but not my posts here unfortanately) now that I'm in college.
I was wondering how many of you remember that/those times.

I don't mean to brag as I post this thread. I'm just saying that for ME, it was my highest drawing moment. What's your's?
