Im still learning my wacom, slowly working out how to kick its ass.

you are indeed kicking it's ass,
i love the central circle panelisation you got going on.
sweet concept. - maby loose the antenna receiver on it's gun.

Yeah, the antenna was a bit of an afterthought.
And so were lots ot the shapes, Ill probably give it a quick makeover, wish someone else could give me some pointers!

i really like it, except all the robot 'pieces' maybe dont quite look coherent, like theyre not joined together- i dunno, did you use a different technique for the legs as opposed to the torso? Very nice tho, have you seen some of the art for advance wars 1 + 2 on the gameboy advance? Has a similar look. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff :D

It seems too tall, like it's on tippy-toes. Same forms but spread in a wider stance would make it look more stable and dynamic = better.

And Varook, I definately see your point, a good crit. But I was going for a more crablike design here, its no prom mecha walker. Definately related though:)
I think, in fact, that the pointy leggs could increase stability. The sharper the ends, the less it fumbles.
