And finally I decided ...

My name is Paul Fabiani, and for some years (since 2004) I began to devote myself to sculpture in a more serious, particularly as the subject of Mecca ...
Work as Illustrator and Graphic design, and for some time, together with the other two of my brothers, I opened a small business http://3evan.it, where sale and sell all my "Mecha" and subjects.

After considerable time spent reading everything that's on the forum, I decided to show something of my own.
I hope that my work will like and find a place to improve and grow.
a greeting to all

P

The one below is one of my recent work, based on one of my first realized Mecha ..

Nice mecha, but he lacks some exhauted pipes in his back, but this is just my personal taste.

Nice mecha, but he lacks some exhauted pipes in his back, but this is just my personal taste.

Thanks for the compliment!
In fact, on the back, still missing all the tubes and other details, such as reactors and a part that should remind the backbone of the model.
However, as soon as I can, I put the new pictures of how work is progressing.
again thanks and see you soon

Hey Paolo,
Really like your work. I checked out your website and thought your mecha on there were very impressive as well. I like some of the roughness with this piece and wonder if you will be keeping that, or if it will end up more smooth and polished like the other robots?
I am working on similar sculptures, although I have been working with more found materials and less sculpted from scratch parts. I am struggling a little with some of my joints, and I was wondering if you could elaborate a little on your process with the joints specifically. I looks like they are cast. Are the ball and socket arm joints from a previous sculpt ( they look similar to one on your site)? Did you sculpt the joints originally then cast them, or are they cast from some other kit? Just curious. I'm been kinda scrapping by with my crude dremel tooling joints and am looking for another solution. Also, do you do your own casting, or do you send the pieces out?
Thanks, keep up the good work!

Then ....

Hey Paul,

Thanks for the compliments and to appreciate our work! It's always very pleased to see that we have chosen desgin attract 'attention.
Concerning roughness, yes, I thought I would leave them in places, as I did for the previous model (still with the 4 arms). It 'something I like, and take a good' effect on the finished model.

I looks like they are cast. Are the arm ball and socket joints from a previous sculpt (they look similar to one on your site)? Did you sculpt the joints originally then cast them, or are they cast from some other kit? Just curious.

As regards the joints, most are all home-made pipe plasticards evergreen or resized, or taking advantage of small spheres found in various shops that sell items for architectural models. Other, smaller, you can find on the Internet in some facilmete Shop handling equipment for the model, as hlj.com. You can find them already made in different sizes.
This model is based on one of our previous models, but still, the joints were home-made.

I'm kinda been by Scrapping with my raw Dremel tooling joints and am looking for another solution. Also, do you do your own casting, or do you send the pieces out?
Thanks, keep up the good work!

For the "Casting" all 'the beginning we would produce them (successfully unsatisfactory) then we used a professional who gives us a high quality, while keeping the number of Kit

Essert been useful and I hope I have clarified all your doubts, and you'll continue to follow my work.
Thank you and again and soon.

I almost missed this thread. So many great works being shared in here and I find that I miss some new contributions.

I'm pleased we've got another mecha specialist in this section of the site. Mechanical design and execution can be daunting and to see it handled so skillfully is inspiring.

I hope you'll keep sharing your progress here. I think your work and ZLuca's projects offer a great balance to the organic pieces that are being shared. Cheers!

Hello and thanks KingUnicorn compliments. I apologize for the delay response, but now I saw the message, =_=....
I really hope that my work can inspire somebody, and this leads him to realize his plans as I did: I started, in fact, seeing the work ZLuca, now I think my "teacher" and to which I I'm inspired to learn and improve even more. until you get to the levels now
Soon, I'll put the photos of the new progress of the work, now well advanced.

So thanks again for 'attention demonstrated and see you soon

Hello everyone!
Here I am back, with the latest progress made on the template. The work is still far from final say, but the direction is right, then losing Really little. As you can see from the photos, we have made substantial changes, as for the mechanics of the legs and the arms / shoulders. Also, I experienced a new version of the foot, m not sure yet which one to choose (which goes wrong, there I put them both;)! )
Well, I leave you to the photos and see you soon. I hope it is to your liking:)

hello all!
Waiting to show the latest updates on the above Mecca, the "Shamag II", I present one of the last born in my house 3evan:

YUMURTA MAN

The one below is one of the last few works written and produced entirely in-house. This is a character created as a star of a sci-fi short story, which would be an artificial being who lives in a futuristic was where the 'expanding to' inner solar system has become a routine! This, would be part of a "body of 'the elite' exploration 'and its low height and size" Roundish "it would facilitate the difficult tasks that should be located to face!

The model was built with Super Sculpey Rosa, while the weapons I used parts of styrene and a 'weapon of a Kit Kotobukiya

That said, let's talk about the pictures and see you soon
Let me know what you think and thanks in advance

prejudice to all
It 'a little that I do not write or audience something, so I apologize for this ...

"Hover Bike"
Below, I present you one of my recent projects, still under construction. This is a Flying Motorcycle, or "Hover Bike" Considerable size (call it bike is indeed simplistic!) 'S thinking about something I made Wipeout style (the famous racing game of the A-Grav PS), a world where motorcycle races, you make a horse like that of cars on runways!
But even as a military, since I expected an armed version ....

The model was created by assembling together several containers of shampoo and soap, plus a few pieces from the box of precious ananzi. For the moment, is only a test, a sketch, to verify the large holdall and volumes that will be when finished.
The pilot himself, made with Super Sculpey Rosa is only a test, since the final one will be a little smaller ..
The scale of the model is 1/35!

That said, let's talk about the pictures and see you soon
Let me know what you think and thanks in advance

Hello to all
Here I am again, with my last job!
This was the cause of my absence from the forum, and why many of the other works, are still Work in Progress.

These are photos of my latest work on commission, created for the "Ammon Miniature"http://ammon-miniatures.com/portail/ a French company that deals with collectible miniatures. The Tank is the first in a series of vehicles (style "cartoons") who will be joined by Pin Up style World War II. The Pin Up, in 32mm, will be sculpted by Zak Valentin.
The whole kit will be made of resin, to assemble and paint.
The size of the tank, as you will see from the photos, are very small. Measure, namely: 4.5 inches Width 4.5 inches Height-5.5-cm length.

This is a 'preview, then put the photos of the whole realization of the model, and a copy (free) painted ....
The wagon will be available from March, directly on the site of Ammon Miniatures.

I hope you like it, as was pleasing to me :)
Thank you all and see you soon

I think that is a great modelling sculpture...Maybe it would be awesome if someone were to turn it into 3D model

Thank you! :)
I'm glad you like it. Now there is to see that in painting, full of Pin Up.

Doing it in 3D!? It would be an 'idea ..... maybe in a nice CGI animation!

Thanks again and see you soon
