I think your examples are good but I think they don't show enough variation.

cool site!

but if the site is for a professional portfolio, you might want to reconsider a flash orientated site. loading times and menu fades aren't absolutely necessary (previous and next image buttons disappear etc).

The Flash is a nice effect, but i would drop it. Actually I was left with jsut a white dot, I had to right click and select "play" for it to continue.

The first thing right off the bat just looking at the 2D gallery, GET THUMBS, seriously. I have worked (and do now) as an Art D. and I won't waste my time on a site that wants me to keep clicking "next" in the portfolio. I want to get in, look immediatley at what catches my eye, then get out, no fuss no mess.

So honestly I spent less than 40 seconds at your site, seen 3 images and left to finish posting here. Hopefully this doesn't rub you the wrong way, I had many a flash site back in 2002, and know what it takes to work in Flash. I got alot more clients once I dropped it. Its basically become a novelty, at least in my opinion.

take it easy!

Yeah, I must agree with WK. Too much flash. I think people are more concerned with your work than the site itself. I think a simple, well done HTML site would suffice. Even on my high speed computer things took a while to load. Keep up the drawing work too. You're on your way, but you still have much growing to do.
