Nice darkcult, but i personally prefer your larger pics, with more detail. I think u need to darken your lines more, give the witch the same lines darkness as the egg mabye...

i like your colour choices. i think the face/head look flat, and the jaw/mouth area might look better IMO if was pulled back a bit.

Revisited the illo and worked some more, hope it looks better.
.
The main background idea of this illo was fable (fox prying on the chicken’s egg)…
.
Egg is a symbol of soul in different cultures and religious beliefs (“Angel’s Hearth” DeNiro and all that, uh I knew that movie will come handy one day), thus golden egg.
