Hello everyone, I am extremely nervous about this since It is my first time creating a thread here, and im not that great of an artist, but im working on that lol. and hopefully you guys give me the little push i need. I am a 3d character artist who really really really wants to learn how to draw and paint digitally, i considered myself a pretty decent tradional clay sculptor and maybe ill be posting some of that i as i go here. If i make any mistakes with posting and things like that i would like to apologize in advance lol, and oh yeah my english is not that great but what the heck. ok so . To start i read that is better to do the image attachment thing how do i do that, i if you guys and gals dont mind me asking.

Hey dagoned, a good start here. All I can suggest is to keep up at it.
Just remember to not be afraid when laying down colour; be violent, chuck it down! No fear, no hesitation! ;) You don't want that semi-transparent, pecky strokes look. Digital art can be cleaned up or rubbed out so damn easily, so it's okay.
The dude with the spear and skulls is a good one; keep going in that direction, but go easy on the textures, or mix it up so it doesn't look like you've just blanketed it.
Keep going man, you have some serious potential! :)

Phiq - Thanks for your words man Im freaking pumped now lol. I am quite new to color and eventhough I have read about color theory until you actually start playing with it, you dont see how awesome it is. I'm still trying to find a workflow that works for me and a style you know, thats why you see how different every drawing is from each other lol.. but shit dude I cant thank you enough..
I work at a whole foods in florida and they are having an art contest for all the team member the subject is the sea turtles lol. It is due on monday i dont know if im going to make it but i'll give it a try.. im starting a little later today and i'll be posting as i go. im a bit nervous but fuck it lol..

Take this turtle to the next level dagoned by employing some turtle references. Just hit Google image search and have them next to you while you paint it up. It will make all the difference! Good luck :)

you're very good with poses and coloring.. i'm jealous =)
I suggest adding more detail though.. makes your pictures seem a bit lacking, they look blurry. Especially around the edges. But if thats what you're going for / your style, i say excellent job
