basically a quick sketch, i never use backgrounds, and am trying to force myself too, this isn't a strong bg by any means. I just like how this pic turned out. Done with non repro blue in hopes that one day i will ink this...

Ok, since no one else seems to see it, but the building directly behind the ninja girl, the roof curves upwards when it should curve down. See, the other building in the background curved down; so all the other buildings should folow suit. My suggestion is that you raise the end of the roof closest to the foreground up and havee it surve down. Also, I'm haveing porblems with that wall the ninja is leaning against, if it's at ground level, then she is incredbily tall, if it's something on the roof of another building you should probably give us some other reference to back it up .
I guess that's about it, other than the stuff that I mentioned it's a pretty solid pic.

thanks for your comments and crits everyone.
Midnighter - you caught me, i really am struggling with my bg's, but am slowly getting stronger with them. But with the building, i actually intended the smaller roof to curve like that, because it is actually part of the same building, and that curve comes out from 'underneath' the larger curve. the wall is actually supposed to be part of an old wall that is higher then ground level, but yeah, i see what you mean. thanks again for the critique!
