I've just begun to ink comic book pages, and I've started with a Hunt 102 crow-quill pen.
What's the best way to get a smoothly contoured ink line with the nib? I'm trying to create a smooth motion using my elbows and shoulders without resting my hand on the page.
Also, one web site I visited said to tilt the nib at a steep angle and pull, never push, the nib point to create varying thicknesses.
Does anyone know of a good web page or book that shows how to do this?
Thank you.
